this is a photo of a boreham car so should be right. i hope!!
i know your car is right,, i just dont understand the ideas behind it!
if the drop link was vertical, no thrust movement would be placed on the blade/torsion bar

but the picture mike has posted is just uprated standard,it has standard crossmember, standard front uprights and cut and welded steel tca's,incredibly different to mine.
look at how the damper is held in the upright of mikes compared to mine!!
mikes has standard steering arms as well and standard steering rack knuckles, group A cars are another world in difference,

Can you get another one? Or do I learn about fabrication and have a go at bodging up one of my own making?
Got to get my comp struts on some time, but not going to drive a bowl of jelly with no ARB.
Any idea what approx spring poundage would be needed to run no ARB, but hold back body roll? I know it would be poo on the road, but I can get coilover springs cheaply and easily. I'm on 400s now on the front.

at least your going to change this mike,
at least your going to change this mike,
Not sure how Mike is going to do his actual set up, but would guess it wil be similar?

And that's coming from me, a Somerset lad born and brrrrrreeeeeaaaaaaaad. Oooo arrr.
In term of appearance (not necessarily of actual performance I might add) Martin's look better (at least to my non engineering eye.)
However Tim's is a pukka spec Boreham car, so should ACTUALLY be the better beastie.
Tim, can you get any shots of how your compression struts are mounted? I can see them at the TCA end, how about where they join the bodywork / chassis?

Front and rear set ups . Ive used the modded std set up that Martins now got and the Proper gpA kit pictured on my last 2 racecars , dont just think you can pick up a bar and fit it and it will transform your car ! These parts are designed to do very specific jobs and are available in many diameters for just that reason !
The blade adjustment is there to suit different track conditions and not to suit driving style as someone mentioned before , these parts are designed to obtain the optimum out of a Race car /rally car , i'd steer well clear until you absolutely have to fit them , ive had std 2wd GpN cars that are quicker on turn in thru a good set up and cost peanuts !

It looks to me like theres a rear anti roll bar fitted to the front of tims car , the rears have a 90 Degree blade to bar angle and the fronts have a 45 Degree , my front almost rubs on the lower damper to hub retaining bolt when its at droop its that close . Maybe it was done for a particular surface , Tim is this right ?
