is this the guy who skipped town with a few quid and then bought the car, claimed his mate was racing an slr when it crashed and spread itself over the best part of amile, ran away, blamed everyoen else, then they found the blood from his nose on the drivers side airbag and nicked him for being a twat?

modern cars seem to be able to take big impacts quite well..
saw an MR 340 evo that was completly fucked...left the road at over 70.
Every panel was fucked both bumpers pushed right in etc...th passenger compartment looked ok tho.

The cars were both owned by UK finance houses. I think the Enzo was/is owned by RBS and the SLR by someone like Clydesdale bank. Under his finance arrangements, he was not allowed to take the cars out of UK/Europe. The cars were technically stolen.

omg thats fooked but how good is the ferrari techie,crash boffins on how the engine come apart taking all the weight away from the car, and the cockpit is prety much mint bar the airbags, if the engine stayed on the car, he would have been one dead fook

This happened about a year ago and the enzo was reported as stolen in the UK and not registered in the US and neither was the SLR that his wife was caught driving at a later date. The story was on wrecked exotics but you can't access it anymore
