Will the Interior of a Mk 6 Escort fit inside a Mk 5.5 (the one with the old front end and new rear)

you will need to swap the front seat sumbframes over as the floor pans are different.

all the door cards, dash and rear seats are direct fit

 

Is swapping the sub frames relatively simple?

the front subframes from mk5 seats dont fit mk6, ive just done the whole swap, u have to rewire the dash to splice in all the new plug backs and the door handle backs on the doors need swapping for the mk6 backings

im still trying to find a way to get the front seats in without having to weld the subframes to the seats, ive been told that a fez ztc-s subframes fit sthe seats and bolts up correctly to the floorpan...will try and let you know if you want.

 

im pretty sure the lad i know that done it just swapped the seats..?
