Default VW Caddy

Thinkin of changing my van for one, Anyone know what mpg i'd get out of a 1.9tdi? I'm getting 27mpg at the mo from my hiace! My escy cozz is nearly doin that!!

2.4 N/A, And to booth it wouldn't pull the skin off a sausage!! Over taking is a no no.

LOL Well some times theres a good spot goin near the water at the camp site and you have to be first in. She's fook all good pullin a twin axel !!

iv got a 1.9tdi caddy and its the best van i have ever had.

2 years old 100k on the clock and touch wood its as good as gold.

Hi- ace are well known for being crap, caddy is a great van aswell as the transporter

Good vans, my firm has several. They do massive mileage day in day out, not treated with any sympathy but serviced every 10k.

Couple (v.minor) points to look for ;

ALL of them have had to be returned several times for new rear door handle internals. The small half of the door internal handle.

most of them have had problems with the wipers just turning on for no reason. iirc its just the switch in the steering cowl.

Headlights are RUBBISH.

Cheers lads, Was told today they do 50mpg!! And also a towbar cost 1000euro to have fitted !!!
