Copy and paste the name list, and add your own:

2. E900 DDV
3. RSDAN
4. turboash
5. Cos47
6. Jtechsaff plus significantly better half

11. trevCOSS and possibly Claire
12. Juicy Jem and Ginge

Cheers

Didnt know there was a Plym meet as well! Do you do it often, or is this a once off?

PS - any ETA on the alternator bracket?

One off at the mo - as in this is the first, and only planned one. Sure there will be loads more in the summer.

Phill has his hands full with my Cos rebuild at the mo so hasn't had a chance to do the alternator bracket yet...I'll keep mentioning it though!

Hi matey,

I am just after the standard 2WD alternator bracket, as mine has elongated holes now. Dont care what it looks like, as long as I can bolt the alte to the engine, Itll be a massive improvement on mine!!!! LOL

Cheers

Can you bring it with ya tomorrow matey? I may need one - looks ok as it is, but would be handy to know I can get one of ya if needed!

How much are you after for it?

WTF is a drop bracket?

Just seen that you are meeting in the day not the evening. Sadly this rules me out. I have a cosworth to rebuild (again!)

It bolts to the block, then the normal alternator bracket bolts to it. Moves the alternator away from the turbo area so you can fit big turbos and also reduces the amount of radiated heat the alternator sees which can sometimes cause them to cut there output. And thats no good when you fuel pump/ecu go from seeing a nice 14.0volts to only 12volts of the battery, possibly causing the engine to run lean

Difficult to cut the output of my alternator, given that it is a pile of unmitigated shit!!!! PMSL

Fortunately, new one has arrived at ALS ready for me to pick up

All I need now is a way to fix it to the engine . Thinking about fixing the one I have.

Bring the Beemer, just pop down, say hi, grab a bite to eat. Then get back to rebuilding.

I'm doing the same, nice few hours break from fixing cars.
