I used to think it was very tidy but they might have finished the arches off properly. I can still see the screws/rivets where they have been fitted. I do like the look of the car but close up that spoils it for me.

Awesome, Bluesprint engine, I know that engine room anywhere, and some of the parts used, like that turboF1 Style external gate and whatnot...
Cooler like that IMO

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
That isn't the one that was for sale several times recently.
The one shown on the thread from turbosport belongs to kev mk2's mate ,
jason, which I believe comes from near southend, and hasn't been on
the road for several years.
It will be one of the best mk2's when it does come out tho',its had 1000's
invested in it!
This is the other one when my mate mike stevens 1st built it back in the
early 90's

Cheers Puddy. Yes it is not that other car that people keep saying it is. The only thing they have in common is similar colour lol.
And it wont be 600bhp+ it will be around 500bhp.
He has owned this car for around 13 years now and its all his own work.

All depends how you do it and how much the
donor parts cost really. It could be done for around
Ł3k if you do it yourself, but that would be without
decent brakes, and a strong axle to cope with the power.
Standard escort axles are ok with standard cossie power for a while but will need upgrading to an atlas eventually.
I would say to build one properly you wont get
much change out of Ł8k.
That means atlas axle with quaife shafts and
ZF diff which is around Ł1500-2000.
5 or 6 linked rear end etc etc. Painting the car, roll cage.
The list goes on and on.

i always remember the feature from when i was a bit younger because it said ' Nail it in the dry and the back end tries to overtake you, nail it in the wet............and it succeeds !'
