Going to get my head skimmed and bead blasted tommorrow.

Just wanted to know if i should get any modifcations done while its there?

Its a 1.6 cvh head. For the escort rs turbo.

If that's all they're expecting to do, I expect that's all you'll have done - if you're talking about polishing and porting(?), it's a time consuming process.

What are you hoping to acheive from your engine? Do you need new valve guides, does your cam require double springs etc? No point spending money when stuff's not needed.

My point is don't spend money when you don't know what you want!

Decide what you want first, then see what's required to get you where you want. Otherwise you'll end up with a mis-match of expensive parts that don't really deliver much.
