Default Cat Killer

i hate cats!!!

im sure all the local cats no this as they all seem to want to shit outside my gate, just behind the back of the cossie so every time i want to get some thing out of the boot or i simply leave my house i tread in cat shit!!!

also since its always just behind the cossie i always drive through it and then it sprays it all up the side of the car

what the fuck can i do to stop cats shitting there!?!?!? tried Jeyes Fluid but that dunt last n i cant afford to buy 4 litres of that every week

is it time for a air rifle or is there a more humain way (i hope there isn't )

this has been going on 2 years now! since i moved in!!!!

This is always a fun subject on here
I hate cats too, but you will be told that they always bury their crap out of the way and are harmless little creatures that have the right to roam free.

I tried a sonic cat repeler and it worked for a while then packed up

There is a product you can buy, its called get off my garden ( honestly) cats and dogs hate the smell of it but I don't think it smells bad to people, I used it some time ago and it worked, also works if you have a bitch in heat, it stops dogs peeing on your front step, probably works out cheaper than jeyes too.

You can get the collers with the magnets on that open the cat-flaps with the magnetic lock on them. We had this with our moggy a few years back and worked a treat as only ythey can get in and out (does depend on if your cat already wears a coller).

As for shooting cats, having had ours shot outside the house for no reason, then believe me, if I found out who it was, you'd be on the receiving end of a revenge that you'd never forget!

Most people on here know my opinion on those that suggest any cruelty to cats. Infact any animals. For the record I fucking hate dogs but that doesn't make me want to kill them or put chemicals down to stop them doing their business.

My Mum lost an absolutely gorgeous full pedigree German Shepherd a few years because a wanker who used to jog along a particular track decided that he had enough of standing in dog-shit, so he spread rat-poison. Her's wasn't one of the one's whose shit he was standing in yet, he died.

Birds shit on my car, but I don't shoot them. That's life. Just deal with it.

I also fucking hate it when next-doors kids kick their football over my fence. In the Summer I have to throw it back EVERY day, I imagine it's just a matter of time before it hits the car or the greenhouse. Perhaps I should cover it in Anthrax before I throw it back?

WTF is the Jeyes fluid all about?

I agree with Christian.

Pepper dust from a garden centre is a safe way of keeping cats from going in a certain area, you have to renew it every so often if it has rained alot, but its cheap and dont harm them

Cats were around a lot longer beforer we were so have far more rights than us...

Unfortunately its just the way it is and you will have to just deal with it.

Orange peel works well but looks unsiteley scatered all over your driveway....LOL

Better a load of arange peel than catshit though....

we spray "Cif Spray" and they dont like it. cats used to rip black bags open when out for the dustbin men spray the bags with that and they dont touch them anymore.

spray it where ya walk and they stop and shit elsewhere.

I had this same problem last year and tried all the orange peel, hanging cd's,sprays, gels and every other old wives tale to repel cats...my local cats just laughed at them as they do not work and are a waste of money i then bought one of these bad boys in the link and i can honestly say it was brilliant...you could hear the little bastards screeching as they got a soaking in the middle of the night and then scrambling over my garden fence to get away quick...i used it for 3 months and have never had a cat in my garden for the last 18 months since, they hate water it may seem expensive but it works and i spent £30 on other crap sprays and powder which didnt work...trust me and get this before wasting your money... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CONTECH-SCAREC...QQcmdZViewItem

When i had my cats they always used to shit in the garden or in cat trays
Which dident bother me
but both went ill and they started pissing all over the house
now my mum had to have them put down as the piss we couldent stand as t was soo strong and they was in agony and the vets sugested it was the best thing, no other cats hardly shit in my garden as i have two dogs so that cures it, but whats anoing is at my grandads were my cars parked is cats keep going to next doors for food as they feed them and they run across my roof and bonet and it does half piss me off as they scratch it,

they also piss and shit at the gate and on the lawn and its pissing me off now, they also like to scratch the slipttle (fuck knows why) but it was painted and its all cracked now.

am going to try orange peel and pepper dust when i can be arsed, but will it stop them running across my bonnet?

The most annoying thing is when you've just washed your car and the bugger runs over it!

Or so I've been told by the people who's clean car has just been dirtied by my cat

Heres a cheaper option and my neigbour swears by it.......

SERIOUSLY....

Get an empty 2 litre coke/pop bottle - must be transparent - remove all labels

Fill it with 3/4s full of plain water and tighten cap firmly.

Place the bottle in the place you want the cats to keep away from.
Must be laid down horizontally.

His front garden has two of these bottle on and never gets cat shit.
Mine does get littered occasionally......no bottles though.
