Default Metal wide arches for Mk1/2/3 Escorts?

As per title really, what ones are available in metal rather than fibreglass, and where hell you get them from?

Actual arch extensions rather than an X-Pack sort of thing.

Cheers

montes are the biggest really... like dingy's,although i think the ones i have are like monte rears but with the lip cut off so are just as wide on the rear and wider on the front. (see my thread in restos if you don't get what i mean! but you can't get mine in metal (gp2 zakspeed) anyway)
then i think it goes tarmac then forest.
also bubbles. i think expressed do the bubbles, then someone like prepfab, gartrac ralloy etc for the others mate
they sell them at rally design too iirc.

Awesome, cheers.

But at the prices at Prefab compared to fibreglass smith n deakin jobs

Price you pay for quality i guess

prepfab aren't the cheapest by a long way.. do you know specifically which type you're after?

and yes,. the alloy will always be more expensive than the fibreglass... especially bubbles. (and smith and deakin aren't the best for fibre glass either from what i understand)

in that photo your arches don't actually look any bigger than mine i think Paul.. maybe it's just my eyes not seeing it right..

what size rims can you get under there with the tubs? have the rails been narrowed at the back?

when you talk arches on a escort there is only 1 company to think
of and thats WWW.GARTRAC.COM
yes they may be dearer but all the other companies are copying
what gartrac did,the mk 3 ones were the best arches imo
and made of alloy

Personally if the car going on the road and you dont want mudflaps to protect the paint , you cant go wrong with the Gp2 arches, just a shame theres no call for them as they would be avalible in Ally ..

hi mate

in stavro's original post he made out he wanted metal not fiberglass.
gartrac are metal not fibreglass.

back in 1988 my very first ford escort was a zakspeed flat front
mk2 escort and it had the ford badges in the wings etc.
it was genuine stuff identical to new stuff i saw back in the day
but was fibreglass/plastic kit bonded onto the panels
the zakspeed stuff is
i have the pic you posted and a lhd sponsored by
brut faberge ..... nice cars

yeah, i know mate.. they're also space framed iirc.. or at least if the pics i have of one in its dying days are correct! (hence my original post about the gp2 arches being the way forward - i have them on mine) but the thread's kind of gone off topic anyway..

when you say you have the pic i posted AND a lhd car sponsored by brut faberge.. do you actually have the car?
if so... i'll be round soon as for a looky.
