Default Rubber Trim Bufty Question

What does everyone use on there dool seals and window seal to make them look ¨as new¨, i've just tried the autoglym stuff, and it seems to give a bit too much of a shiney finish.

want the matt/satin finish u get when there new.

Bufty alert

cheers

I use Megs Trim Detailer which is on this page in the top left

http://www.meguiars.co.uk/cgi-bin/ca...at=ENT_OTHER#2

It's designed so you have to keep applying layers to get a shine so it might work out better for your seals.

Also when you apply anything like that you do need to rub it in immediately to stop it shining, like the tyre cleaning stuff.

BMW Gummi-Phledge

Non shiny, make seals look like new, stops squeaks, stops seals freezing, can cure leaks (from dry seals) and cheap as chips

Its what they recommend for the cabriolet seals and the seals on the pillar-less doors.

A tube will last you ages.

If your BM dealer looks at you with a blank expression (they often do) when you ask for it, go on any BM forum and do a search on the name, then go back to them with the part number …
