Almost right It was on re-entry at about 180,000 feet, (in the mesosphere) which isnt really 'in space'. Thats the lower end of the lower-earth-orbit and so i doubt there was a statelite that could see it from beneith, as i dont think you can orbit at that altitude.

Also there wouldn,t have been much if any liquid oxygen on board as it would have used it all on take off! Also it would be travelling at high speeds so where are the trail lines? Total bollox!

I forgot my science stuff from school years ago, but could you actually have a traditional explosion with such a relatively small amount of oxygen in a vacuum?

 

It would burn, very quicky and the burn would look odd.


The flame I think would expand to follow the gass. as the gass would exelerate at a massive speed then there you not be enough air to burn.

But if the fire started in the shuttle it would be burning before it would explode so you would just see mabe a flash.

Was columbia not the shuttle that blew up on take off? as for the other disaster, that happened on re-entry to the earths atmosphere and the problem was triggered buy a hole in the wing, shots above look like the shuttle is still in space and explosion looks as if its starting at the back of the craft so definately a hoax, israeli satellite is a big clue Mr Holmes
