It's all very well making claims about hitting the limiter (which is "allegedly" set at 9k) in a car (with no accurate rev counter) allegedly running a L6 ECU (which can only track accurately to 4000rpm and by 6000rpm is running a few revolutions behind - so fuck knows what it's doing by 9k+ ) on a single coil system that is basically crap above 7k .

However, until a car is proven in the same way as everyone else who has done so publically, then I cannot give what is said any credibility what-so-ever . Who knows, the alleged 9k rev limit "hitting" could have been a high rpm misfire at 8k due to the antiquated nature of the ECU / ignition system etc .

I believe my Escort is capable of mid to low 3s 0-60 and high 11s quarters and approx 170 - 175mph, so it MUST be true .
