does that replace the original instrumentation as a straight swap then, do you need an alternative management system etc. to get all the readings???

All the sensors for the Stack are stand alone, so do not require a particular ECU to work

) 
. Fitting into your binnicle is extra and is price dependant on application, but is usually around the Ł200 mark.
