That Defi gauge is a EGT (Exhaust Temp Gauge) and reads to like 11-12000 degrees.

Only because the original dash has been wired to accept it.

Thanks Simon . I thought I had made that clear earlier in the post, but definitely needs reiterating. It is our installation into your binicle that makes it "plug & play" into the existing Ford loom .

Actually, the required lacquering of this would cause nasty reflections, something you DON'T want a dash to do .

dont like the lights. they too square and lego like. Need to be flush and more rounded IMO. Not easy i know...
