My mrs has a 7 grand loan, at a guess shes probably paid off about 5k of it but it was her first loan and from her bank so got charged a silly rate. Shes never missed one payment so do you think she could get another for the money she owes to get a better rate?

Has anyone else done anything like this before?

www.moneysupermarket.com is your best bet - providing her credit history is impecable, she may well qualify for an excellent rate of around 5.9 to 6.9% depending on the lender etc etc

Just applyed with Alliance & Leicester and they've emailed they'll contact us withen 48 hours so i guess that meens thats a no go???

Any ideas of companys that will actually accept her? It ran a credit check and she came back as "good".

cant see any problem with that then.all these adds and stuff that say 'decisions in 15 minute' etc are bollocks in my case and always end up calling back,maybe they just need some more details.alliance and leicester are a good place for loans.
