Default M6 Toll Road

I went on it tonight. £3 to go up to wherever I went near lichfield and £4 to come back to london. wtf!!!! not even as if the road was particularly smooth. I think its a piss take. Dartford Crossing is £1 and that's a bridge that has to be checked all the time.
Anyone else think this is rather unreasonable??

ive used it twice, was about £3 each time iirc.

but the good thing about it is that no one else was on it, so you can just go flat out for ages lol

Used it once going to Blackpool from down South. Paid me £3 and had a go. Brilliant, empty road, just like a test track, no police, best drive I ever had.

Cheers

Its just gone up from 3.50 to 4 quid.

I use it quite a lot.

Believe me after sitting in the M6 traffic you would too- remember the Dartford crossing has been open for years.

Police are on there- they sit around the services at the end and under the bridges on the bends. Be carefull- they know what people do on it- they aint stupid.

If I were to give advice- after 3.00pm and before 7.30 in the evening and after 7.30 and before 10.30 in the morning other wise you're likely to hit traffic.

It's a ripoff, it says "trailers extra" on the price board but it doesn't quote a price, I went through with my jetski on a trailer (Total weight about 300kg) and they charged me £7.50, the same price as a 45 ton HGV.
