So it experiences a few problems for a couple of days and thats nothing being done is it?

Have you ANY idea how much effort goes into keeping a site online and reliable thats as busy as this? But no praise for it being fine over 90% of the time, just insults and abuse for the 5% it spends with issues.

Its not slowed down for me at all for ages. This past 2 nights are the only slowdowns ive personally experienced. Pet has found teh problem and will be fixing it as soon as he can. Its bloody Midnight in France chaps... give him a chance eh?

Just try to be patient chaps.
Some of you are here almost ALL DAY for whatever reason, and you know if you think about it, that for teh vast majority of teh time the site is fine, fast and reliable. Any you can pretty much guarantee, whatever time of day you visit, PF will be here, waiting, and working, even when it does have its issues.

Remember she is a busy server and WILL need some work now and again... this is inevitable.

The last week alone she has processed 28000 posts and served over 1.2 million pages. Its not a laptop ya know...

What are you calling "On & Off" ?
Once 29 days go and again tonight? Or every day for a month?

Theres usually in excess of 500 people on here all day long, and ive only seen 2 topics complaining of speed lately, and this is one. That suggests the other users are not sharing your problems does it not?

I wasn't moaning, just raising an issue. 99.9% of the people know the traffic on this site is HUGE.......

Unfortunatly theres always the 0.1% that dont and think its just them and a couple of others

Was it last night there was a new Pf record set? Over 1k people on-line I for one know Pets always on the case and whatever the problem its never there for long
