Ive got a virus on my computer. When i try and google anything i keep gatting transfered to a different search engine, not the site i clicked on. Is there any programs i could get off the web that would get rid of this?.

Try starting windows in safe mode with networking, and then try again........

ok, usually on boot up ypu press something like F8 or F5 and get a menu, then press it again to get a second boot up menu.

It really depends on your Bios...........

This worked for me, I had the same thing kept getting taken to some ebay rip off site rather than google

Start > settings > control panel > internet options... Choose the Connections Tab then the "LAN Settings" button on the bottom right. Then make sure "use automatic configuration script" is UN-TICKED and restart internet explorer

Check your DNS settings, they have probably changed from what they should be on
