my punctuation keys and symbols are all mixed up....

the one were u press the shift key....cheers Pete

have you got american keyboard selected?.
this is obvious if the @ and " symbols are swapped for example.

Change the language settings, in control panel.

Go to Control Panel - Regional and Language Options
Make sure English UK is set in everything including Keyboard (if there's a choice)
