I am sorry Steve...but even though they look nice..they are soooooooo boring..get in drive it..nowt goes wrong...you could fall asleep at the wheel and the car would stop you crashing
Cossies everyday for me...unreliable,smelly,keep getting flagged down for a lift,ugly....but it has that one ingrediant that no other car has ever given me EXCITEMENT

Dont be sorry, lol.
Course it was boring tho, yours was like 350bhp and about 1450kg, not what youd call fast, almost standard!
Your saff would be tons faster with about 100bhp more and 200kg less!
If was me idve blown the money making the GTR quick myself, but fair play.

Steve i had thought about making it big power.....but the cost compared to the cossie was one factor, the main one being it really isnt a DIY car.

IMA, whats so complicated about a GTR engine? Nowt, jus a plain old twincam straight 6 with a coupla turbos.
Granted your "used" to messing with a cossie, but a skyline engine hasnt anything complicated on or in it really.
And cost, TBH it costs less IMO for BIG power providing you dont use the UK GTR "bend over and let me rape you and your wallet" tuners, and you DIY so thats not even an issue is it?
But decision made, and its not a stupid one, as cossies are quality (even rape cab saffs, lol), but id not of, lol

Engine bay isnt cramped once you throw the bits you dont need in the bin
You wont need to touch the 4wd, the HICAS can just be ignored, locked, or removed. and there is no other fancy electronics unless dizzyless ign is classed as fancy, lol.
But your choice mate, whatever makes ya happy
