what are these made from?



i have a set that i want painted in a different colour




just wanna check there aint no magnessium in them really as there wouldnt be many people wanting to refurb them

they are 1/2 mag with alloy mixed

would they need to repainted by specialst then or could i just get them powder coated over the top

have to be wet painted, powdercoated is a no no with mag content alloy.

i have a set on my car, had them powder coated by spit and polish.
looks cool and they done a top job...

also my wheels are powdercoated, have been re-coated a few times now with no issue's.

obviously have a very small mag content then, arent are really magnessium wheels at all then just a low mag content alloy?

you are correct i think they are only part mag not 1/2 mag like i said
