BMW M5.
2001 model on
Leather, aircon, double glazing on some models, tv/satnav comms pack, electric blinds on some models, zenons on some models, 400bhp and german build quality.

And all from 10k up.

12k up gets you a good one.

Plus you can drive to a track day, do 25 laps and drive home without oil leaks and a trailor

Tbh mate ur shortlist is pretty damn good

If i had that budget i'd personally go for a 330ci, but from your list it would have to be a focus RS

Focus RS. Standard it can't quite cut the mustard in the power stakes but that's easily sortable and the chassis can take a nice gob more grunt without getting upset.

I would much rather that to something like a 330 BMW. They sound lovely at full chat and the interior is sublime.

i've never heard of one getting "nicked" the security is quite good as standard, who told you they get nicked quite often? The back of the car does not really stand out in a parking spot.

best not get any performance car as most could have some problem that will cost you a 1k to fix if not more.

you've got the focus st on your list haven't you?

personally i'd be thinking either 330d, scooby wrx [model after bug-eye], or a vw golf tdi 150.

i know i' ve mentioned diesels but they're very very good cars.

audi quattro of some description? audi tt? s3? s4?

Default hi

escy not sure about that alfa looks like an oldmans car too me

rssteve thire have bin a few post on here about focus rs getting stolen

james i dont want a diesel car i like the audi s3 but most have starship milage wonna get a car with less than 30k on with fsh and as for a tt well thats a girls car

i do like the 03 to 05 plate scoobys but think that if i was to get one in a year or two's time thay would of devalued too much

Focus RS or ST mate, but for me the RS looks better, just like the shape of the car a fair bit better than the ST
