Valid for 3 years and can be removed from your licence (for a fee ) after 4 IIRC..

edit

I think you only have to inform insurance co. whilst they are valid, but the ins cos. always ask over the last five years anyway on convictions and claims and failure to disclose will void your policy..

think after a certain date has past u can "buy" them off ur liscence from the police but my mate just did it with his focus n it cost him a bundle!

defo declare them as if insurance check up on your liscence at a later date and find you have points i believe u can be done on insurance fraud for not declaring them (few people been caught with this that i know and they got a pretty big shafting from teh cops on it )

only saying what they said mate, i couldnt give 2 tosses whether they were done or not anyway, its their liscnence not mine as far as im concerned. i said i BELIEVE that u get done on fraud, never said that U DID get that as ive never been done and aint exactly 100% on law education. Only what ive heard about these things. I cant afford points cos of my job so therefore i wouldnt know exactly what the rules are on this but as i said only passing on what i have been told on the matter. ive only been driving for just over 2 years so im glad im one of the lucky ones not to have points on my liscence.

but thanks for clearing it up so i can rip the little fuckers now for it
