I only asked for vids of the driving god STAVROS, it was a piss take title but I really wanted to see what qualified Steve to be so critical about peoples driving? I get that he is much better than most but in the grand scheme of things isnt going to win a championship this year, fair play, thats pretty much all I wanted to know. AGAIN, not a dig and title was edited to reflect that

Sorry to drag this topic back up but i feel i should add this video!

It shows Stav drifting all be it not very well (he is the one in the white top the other bitrs are me)

This was early last year and im sure he is slightly better now. Also this is a completly standard automatic car so it makles it even harder.

you dont have to be good to be critical.all this" if he thinks so and so is shit lets see him go and do better"is bollocks.i cant drift myself 1.because i dont have a rwd and 2.because ive never tried more than just hanging the back of my 4x4 saff due to not wanting to wrap it up.but i have been interested in drifting for years and one of my good mates is a d1 licensed drifter.ive been in a car with him plenty in the past and i know what makes a good drifter/drift.

the main prob i think people have is realising that drifting is a consecutive amount of slides that smoothly flow into each other,not hang the back at one corner fast then straighten up and do it again at another corner.

stavros has never proclaimed to be excellent and ive read post off here and off of driftworks forum too.

Id hardly ever drifted before when that vid was done, and not for about 6months as the S13 broke before xmas and that was middle of summer.

Not easy with a big stock automatic car, but Jeek was awesome in it

Better now, still bit poo IMO as my cars are always fucked so lacking practice, but when you got mates competing in D1 and stuff it makes standards a bit high.

Always a bit pointless when the people looking at it have never done it before, as everyone always thinks they can do better...
