That new rolling road is supposed to be up and running next month and that'll be in Uxbridge near Power engineering.

With the exception of Ian @ power's, he's the only bloke I trust with my car. Top bloke, and if it's true he'll be next door, I can re-sume my six monthly check up like @ the dentist

im not aware of Chris and as such have no opinion regarding his ability however I am exceptionally curious about why he and power engineering parted company.

Can't honestly say I have a high opinion of PE though

Chris left for his own reasons, which was posted here and on the FFOC board.

Either way, the guy has a 1.9 System 2 lump, with nos, and a supercharger, in a mk1 fiesta, which he's converted to rwd, and the lump is in the boot, which run's 11 second 1/4 miles

Personally, I trust the bloke 100% with my car, and he's tuned it a fair few times

I've edited this post a number of times attempting to express an opinion without appearing critical of Power which I am unfortunately unable to do as such can only say the following regarding this.
Many years ago when they were still doing the Sprintex supercharged Sierra's I was a customer and to cut along story short received a quality of customer service and workmanship that was not acceptable to me as such I am no longer a customer

I can't really say any more without being specific which achieves nothing and only provokes conflict of opinions from people.
If anyone can speak highly of them, I am so pleased that you did not obtain an experience such as mine which may go to prove things sometimes change.

on the flip side, i have never had any problems with the service i recived from PE
thats not to say it doesn't exist, just that i haven't been on the reciving end of it

there are a few tuners specificly i have had where they have been more intrested in my money than helping out, but out of the 3, one was different the next time i returned

swings and roundabouts but i'll throw mervins name into the mix too, he's always sorted my motors out way back, don't know where he's gone as i ain't seen him for ages either

isn't there another one at middex performance centre? are they still about? in eastcote?

I actually live very close to PE and hear the general comments, and to be honest a lot of the real bad comments and experiences appear to come from way back such as mine... Unfortunately mud sticks to a certain extent.
Many people these days appear to be pleased with the level of service obtained and if the company has indeed changed and improved than that can only be a good thing.
A company is only as good as the staff and I would not wish for my experiences to tarnish people who did not work there at this time as they did not have the ability to do anything.
PE however had policys and management at that time which behaved in a manner that would never obtain loyalty from me.

Im happy that people have a different opinion to myself as we all work hard for the money to spend on our cars

Did he remove the turbo charger? I know it was supercharged and turbo charged at one point while the engine was in the front

I remember him from his old Anglia days Mind you I couldn't drive back then
