im a fellow Red! my uncle got me supporting them from a very early age
ive been to all the finals they've played in since the 96 FA cup final when we lost to Man U
the champions league final was the best final ive seen them play in even better than the UEFA cup final against Alaves when we won 5-4 in Dortmund

Well i'll be the first to admit i'm a Man U fan, and yes i live down south but there's good reason though as my dad was from Manchester so followed in his footsteps. I do also support Aldershot though who are my local team

I support the mighty Chelsea, reason for that is my Mum used to go to Stamford Bridge with a friend many moons ago when all that it had was wooden stands, used to take me but i was very young and don't remember also I grew up in south west London (Putney) so I have always followed them even when we were (shit) back in the second divison,

The team i support is not my local team but i support them because they were the first team i viewed on tv when i was a child, at that age i did not understand regional borders and the rules that you must support a local team. What a load of shit.
However after growing up i still have only seen the local team a couple of times, its lower league and not entertaining. I have seen my team play more than the local one and would rather watch them on a black and white handheld tv in the street naked than watch my local team live.
Sorry but i'm not wasting my life.
All people who bang on about supporting whatever city you are from make me snigger but a glory supporter/casual supporter is another topic. How many people live in one city all their lives these days anyway?

My great great great great and maybe some more grandads was the first Arsenal goalie
I am a Reading (Royals) supporter, born here, lived here all my life.
Always used to have a premiership team, but since about 2000 i stopped supporting Man U, and just stuck with Reading, and we are in the premiership now

Port Vale for me. My dad was a fan and I started going games when I was about 8, I had to sit on the barriers when it was terraced as I couldn't see!

Been following them since a kid because my old man supported them. And in his words - "I've followed 'em for 50 years and they've always been crap!"
Nice one dad!

Liverpool fc.
Got given a load of old LFC programmes from the really early 80s and a pennant from my uncle. I was 8 years old at the time and I was in total awe at the stadium and how many trophies the team had on their team photo on the front of the programmes. Its gone from there really. Been fortunate enough to have been in Dortmund, and in Cardiff v Man Usa twice(worthy/charity shield). On the kop for some special nights including GH return against Roma that was special!!!
Have been on the season ticket waiting list now for 8 years!!!!!!!! hope to get one if the new ground happens. Other wise i listen out for spares so if anybody has any
Just been on the stadium and museum tour which was excellent
I LOVE LIVERPOOL AND ALWAYS WILL - YNWA

Leeds United - been a supporter since i was about 6 or 7 when we was in the old second division back in the 80's, was a season ticket holder right through to 95-96 season then other commitments meant i couldnt go every week no more, now living in london so its even harder to go see them play but try my best to get to the southern away games, QPR, Palace, Southend etc....

Happily retired
Didnt have a big club nearby but have supported Manu since 1955.
Why!! Simple went into a sweet shop to buy some sweets got 2 football cards gave one to my Brother. Mine was Duncan Edwards of Manu & my brothers Vic Groves of Arsenal. We have supported those teams from that day on, thats over 50years. .

The Latics.....Oldham
My home team, havnt had a season ticket for a good few years now. Stopped goin cause i always seemed to be with the wrong crowd, getting into mischief. I have been to a couple of random games in the past few years and they have played well and won when i watched them
Being an oldham fan is a flockin rollercoaster, you never feel safe We nearly went under not long ago. We had to let Dowie go and it took a while to recover but they are doing really well this season
