My wife is on her 3rd LG chocolate
First one stopped working after she dropped it on our sitting room floor ( carpeted not wooden! )
Second one stopped working after getting very slightly wet when some water got into her handbag which fell into a small puddle when she slipped and fell !!
Third one had problems with the touch pad and has had to be sent back, she's now going for the Sony Erricson, cant remember the model number but its the one with a 3.2 mega pixel camera, my bro inlaw has one and says its a great phone and is as easy to use as the Nokias.
I have a Nokia 6233 and its the best phone i have had to date

I've got a D900 and compared to the bucket of shit PDA thing JayCos made me get, it's brilliant!
And the reception is fine [compared to what someone said above], better than the last phone
I know the chocolate things are rubbish and break alot.

the wife has the d900 she loves it but she does find the touch screen a tad annoying at times like when sending a txt you monly have to brush the hang up button and it all goes. only good thing is it automaticly saves the message in the out box. i cant use it got sausage fingers

Did you mean something else as the one annoying thing about this phone is that it DOESN'T save sent messages unless you specify it EVERY time you send one
