Blue thunder is dead :(
Hi peeps
you might aswell know Blue thunder is dead untill next yr
cut a long story short the missfire issues that i was having at castle comb was down to the head/ignition amp/phase sensor........
the head was going to give way big time
where the valves sit .....it's just at the side of there on the inlet and exhaust side of the head 2 big lumps appeared....never seen this before
anyway these were starting to hit the tops of the piston on No 3
i am really so lucky i never went out on track otherwise the whole engine would have been scrap .. i mean scrap.... it's like all 4 valves on number 3 was ready to collapse and die
the car will be back next yr untill then RIP
fooking cossie shiters
In a way i am so happy that it never blew up on track tho

Gutted for you mate.See all the trouble you were going through to get out on track that day.Looks like it was blessing in disguise eh.

Marco, you almost had me in Tears!!!! I thought OH NO....Not the Thunder!!!!!! Just like the other chaps have said, it's blessing or you would be shelling out for a new engine! Good luck dude, I'll be back in 6-8 months. Hope to see it then.!!!

Now where is that post I put up about the bumper not fitting that day, being fate lol
Its good you have got to the bottom if it now Marco and Im sure it wont hold you back, just dont go all Japaneese in the meantime
