Thank you Daz/Eagle.........
My phone is now a dream!!!
Texts are sent as quick as my old 6230 now!! AND I can actully read the letters in the texts they have made them nice and bold with the new software!!!
The card gaes now have instructions in the help menu too
I wonder if my battery life will increase??

Battery life is only marginally better unfortunately although I do believe you can get a 1000ah battery from a spurious supplier (non genuine battery) rather than the Nokia 760/840ah battery.
I've never tried it though.
The phone is much better now isn't it!?

To all those who find their N70's slow... You should carry out the harware update from the Nokia site, like what was being talked about earlier in this thread.
I did this a few months ago and the difference was amazing - like getting a totally new phone. It's sped right up and it's loads easier to use

Well, I am thinking of selling the N73!! It is a lovely phone, but the buttons are just too small. My hands aren't exactly tiny and I am really struggling to text with it. I used to be absolutely ballistic on my 6230i, but can't even find out if I can slow this fucker down as I feel like I am texting with my fingers taped together.

Oddly enough, the easiest phone I found to text with was my old tiny 8850 because the buttons were spaced apart and raised up.
