Default Wideband sensor position

I need to get a boss welded into my downpipe for a o2 sensor, most places say that it needs to be somewhere between the 10-2 o'clocl postion. Ive not enough clearance around that postion, nearest ill be able to get is the 3-4 o'clock position. Is this a major problem?

Only place that I can get 10-2 o'clock, is right on the exit of the turbo, but thats too close?
