I was going to change my oil today, I got all teh stuff and then poured in an engine flush and tried to start the engine and the starter motor burned out
puff of smoke lol
neway am changing this tommorow
but this means leaving the flush in the engine, could this damage the engine if left in too long (bearing in mind I ain't driving it)
cheers!

Nah won't damage it just sat in it, long as you don't drive it. Are you supposed to start the car with engine Flush in it?
The engine flush left in for longer will just disperse any Carbon Deposits stuck in and around the engine.
