Not very far - Escorting the sick prince, just before the underwater dungeon. I'm finding it hard to get into it to be honest I found all the other Zelda games alot easier to 'pick up and play'

Stoo, so what do you do when the girl tells you about the fishing rod and the little kids talk about the sling shot?? Cos i cant find anything

pmsl! Is that not at the VERY start?! Anyway, I'm sure you buy the sling shot from the shop but before the lady will serve you you need to return her cat to her but you need the fishing rod for that...to get the fishing rod climb up the vines on the rock thing next to the shop, jump over onto the next one, pick up the flute leave thingys and play them. a Hawk will fly down and land on your arm, aim the hawk away in the distance to where you can see a monkey jumping up and down on a rock...the hawk will grab the basket and return it to a woman, go speak to the woman and she'll give you the rod, use the rod to fish next to the cat who'll steal one of your fish and run back home with it. Go to the shop and buy the sling shot. I think...

Hmmm, the hawk might not...i know it will make it too the big acorn thing in the tree, opposite direction. I think you might need to swim along towards the monkey and climb back onto a small bit of land just across from it, there are more whistle things there. In fact, that is what you do!

You mean the bees nest Right well ive now got the fishing rod, and managed to catch two fish But you have to put them back So where is the bottle so i can get some fish bait?? Cos ive got to feed the cat

Erm...i just caught a couple of fish and i think it was the third time the cat ran up and stole one. I've not used fish bait yet and i'm alot further on than that.. Hmmm

Right i think you press 'B' to release the fish behind you, instead of back into the water. This should catch the cat's attention, do this a couple of times then follow it back to the store/ shop once it's nicked a fish

All i did was catch 2 fish and a cut-scene kicked in and the cat ran home. Then you get a bottle of milk, drink the milk, then go and scoop the bees nest into the bottle and you have bait!
