Here it is again then.
One of the young mechanics decided to take the car to wash it himself, i was not told where he took it or why as it was not even dirty.
I took the car there in perfect condition and look at it now when sib gets the pics up and see what you think.

i always take my customers car for a wash, or wash it myself.

No idea what's going on Gavin, but although I can see your pics, when I download to my PC they don't show on screen even though they are Jpegs.
The above pic is a screen shot of your email - the only way round getting your pics up.

You sure it only needs a wing and bonnet. i'd go down and see if there is any damage to the inner wing which i would say there would be.
I'd be gathering info on other cars in same condition ad milage and be demanding they pay out that money. That said i think LEGALLY they could just repair it ????????????

I think i would be in tears if that was my car, The thing is its a car that will only go up in value and its difficult to put a price on it to ask them for some compensation or the value of the car

Im gutted for you pal i would be raging!! get it in writing of them admiting liability and take it to the best bodyshop you can find, also would be asking for compensation for all the stress and hastle of sorting the car and affraid to say the car will now never be worth as much as it was before so would be looking for somthing to cover the depresiation(sp).
Get to trading standerds quick as you can mate.
taking it out to clean it my arse i left my cossie at ford a few years back to get the steering tracked, checked millage before i dropped it off, on return it had 26miles on it!! and front wheels where thick black with brake dust.... wankers!

Every body blame the mechanic,if it was my 3dr i would be pissed off,but just maybe it was an inicent accident,after all if they had just fitted a wheel bearing i would hope they were going to road test it,if it had been an l reg mondy half you guys wouldnt say boo about it,been in the motor trade 20 yrs and have seen it all before,but the garage does have insurance to cover this,which the insurence company will want the car to go to there approved repairer

Got it in writing, also got it saying they will get it fixed using new genuine ford panels and parts. ( but not sure if they are available).
I just dont know what to do now, wheather to accept write off, or let them fix it, or get it back with a payment from the garage?

New grill and bonnet still avalable,wings not been avalable since last year and all inner wings were sold to exprees panels or who ever does the old ford panels,pm lambchop as john had sourced new inner wings
