Most of the Tomtom range has been reduced in the past few days, see this link below and use the codes to get further reductions, the reductions arent valid for collect at store, only home delivery.....

To be honest, i prefer the Garmin, my step-dad has one in his BMW, and its great, i much prefer it, i love being able to chose different cars that it shows on the map. We constantly update it with new albums off the computer to it. I think it's awesome. I dont like tom tom's because they tend to cock up every now and again. I work with a bunch of engineers that all have them in their vans and constantly ending up on other roads although the postcodes are all correct. Rob also had problems with his one when he had it, for the same reason

decision's, decision's they both sound as good as each other. each to their own make.
wots gonna make me stay with the garmin is the lifetime traffic information, but once ive opend the box im stuck with it so i want to make the rite decision as its at the top end of the market so not cheap

They have the 510 for Ł234 which doesn't seem to bad, and its looks like there is a 50 euro per year charge for the traffic and speed camara updates (which i assume is normal ??)

If you use the site above does that invalidate the warranty on the tom tom ??
I'm often getting stuck on the route home form work so something with an auto reroute due to accidents would be good (which it appears that the 510 has got). I assume the tomtom one doesn't have this ??
