ANYBODY FOUND A MOUSE IN THERE CAR?edit..GOT IT!!!x3!jan27!!
Hi all 2 weeks ago went out to my cossie as its tucked away for the winter in the garage opened the front passenge door and a little mouse ran over the drivers seat and dissapeared(fast little fucker!!) 
......had a good look for it, but it aint gona sit there and say come and get me so had no chance getting it..prob jumped out of the car and fooked off 
...had a good look for mouse droppings and signs of making a nest etc could find no signs........now the last thing i want is for the little to shit to turn up again and turn me into lee evans in mousehunt the movie....so anyideas what devices i can put in the car to get the pest? thought about poison ie the little boxes with a hole in it the mouse goes in eats the poison and dies??, probably have to be a mousetrap but will there be much blood? as i dont want it all over the carpet etc will put 1 in car and 2 around the car outside HELP PLEASE I NEED TO GET IT ASAP.....

Yeah wanna get it asapthe cars mint and the last thing i want is for it to chew through the mint leather/carpets or wiring .....I AM GONA GET IT

Don't poison/kill the poor thing!! As above either get a humane trap or one of those HF ultrasonic rodent repellent things.

at work we cought a rat in a trap thats deigned just to trap it and not kill it
then we called rentokill and he shot it through the head with a air rifle and took 5 bullets !!
made a right fucknin mess and the blood clotted to the floor in 1 minuite so it was a right arse to get off even with boiling water
was a bit strange seeing it twitching around with half of its head missing

dont really want to kill it but NEED IT GONE AND KEPT WAY asap because a cant afford for it to wreck my mint cossie..... and im away from the house 4-5 days a week and if i trap it it will be in the trap for a long time

Try this...
Get an old plastic car mat...put it in the drivers/passengers footwell and set up a standard mousetrap etc, that way it will wipe clean and save your prize motor from any errant mouseblood!
Still doesnt help me after a locked a wee sparrow in my garage for 2 weeks and the ba$tard shat all over my car and tools etc..... Opened the garage to find my car crapped all over and the culprit's corpse at my feet - took me ages to clean my tools!!!!

get traps, set them up eveywhere in and around the car
you can buy 10 kill to death in an instant traps for the price of one "humane catch the little darling and then figureout what yu are going to do with your new pet" traps
don't put poison down as you'll have to make sure the basatrds don't walk it all over the car, then you'll be catching rat death eerytime you touch the motor
and put bits of twix and kitkat on the traps, apparently it' the best thing for them

I went out to look at my Series 1 and found sound deadening strewn all over the interior, looked over the interior and saw the little coonts have chewn a hole through the MINT rooflining and ripped the sound deadening out.

put some polythene down in the car and set a load of traps they real cheap from b n q and snap its neck before it takes up residence behind your dash mice love to chew wires!!!!!or even worse nests in your interior kill the fookers forget humane traps

Never had one in my car - Found one injured in my house tho courtesy of the cats - Was a little baby with its eyes cloded still so i hand rared t and it know lives in a rotastack 3 level mouse palace pmsl Im to soft when it comes to animals

You need to get it ASAP mate because if theres 1 there will be another not that far behind.
Once they start breeding that will be your seats Łucked.
I'm getting at least 2 a week from the loft at the moment as there are coming inside for the winter and nesting in the insulation not alot i can do about it really except re-set the traps every time.
As said above use chocolate of some sorts (Qaulity street at this time of year
) as they love that.

Id use the sonic repellent that keeps em away like has been mentioned ealier.If you catch that one and kill it theres no guarantee that there wont be more of em.Just dont leave any ear defenders in your motor though.

set a trap with a chocolate rolo on it ,placed it on the rocker cover put bonnet back down but left it jammed open on top of a torch (give the trap space for movement ,lol)
went into house for a cuppa and popped back out 20mins later ,hey presto .........one mouse with a face like a kicked in piecebox
set the trap in the car and under bonnet for a few nights after that etc and nothing else and no probs
They did eat through a tottally mint condition leather rear bench in my mates 4x4 saph cossie a few years ago

I had a rat residing in the engine bay of my 4x4 when it was laid up. Put poison down in several areas where it had crapped, battery tray, rocker cover etc.
A week or so later whilst doing the washing up and looking out of the kitchen window, I only see the rat in a bad way dragging itself across the patio Lets just say that I put it out of its misery there and then, and had no more problems since. Quite lucky there wasn't more of them.
