Saw one the other day, which for me is quite a rare thing and they just have such a menacing road presence! And the V6 turbo sounded lurrrrvly.
Still not sure if I'd ever own one thou!

You can turbo them with some bolt on kits from APS - but don't go above about 8-9psi or it WILL throw a rod...
There are a few good turbo converted ones with fully built engines that make 500bhp all day everyday.
Oh - and it's 350Z - the ZX was the old 300

Lovely cars with a few subtle mods.
Nice to drive too, nothing mega at all, but nice allrounder.
Go a lot better when a bit of forced inductions added, superchargers ok, but a proper built engine and a turbo gets em going properly...
Certainly wouldnt call em a barge, drive/handle v.well...

Had a drive in a 300ZX last night, the "Fairlady" edition - a shade over 300 horses and similar torque, pair of turbo's and it went like stink, was rather impressed - 4 wheel steering took a bit to get used to, but nice and precise with good road holding.
Best thing was, for me, the ability to illuminate the rear wheels while doing about 60, they spin up so easily

Can pick one up over here for a couple of hundred quid as they not exactly sought after and pretty common. People always selling em as they usually take the RB20 out and put in summat else.

I had a manual 300zx twin turbo a fair few years back, i fookin loved it! Loads of road presence, quick (for a barge!!
) and a real head turner!!!! Looks quite dated now though id say but a lot of car for the money. Heres my old beasty!!
