Your old cars...!

Paul - did the green cabriolet previously belong to Adam?
First car was a 306 XSi.
Then bought this for my 18th:
I then bought my first cossie:
Kept it for a few years, and bought a 205 1.9 GTi as a runaround car.
Then broke the cossie and bought:
Bought the MR2 turbo for a daily drive:
Sold the cossie in parts earlier this year, and now selling the MR2 to get out of cars completely for a while.
Will probably come back with a track car in a year or two, but just after a nice road car for now......

First car which I still have....
From this....
To this (after a years graft)...
Then got a bit lost in the middle with turning a standard VTS into this....
Which, sadly, I think still looks pretty!!

and heres a pic of a mk6 ghia cabriolet i had. owned this for a good couple yrs, wish i still had it, in summer times. spent alot of money on this car havin stuff done, bought it standard
and heres a little pic of my latest car, hasnt seen the road yet, but will be out in spring/better weather. cossie management, full respray bla bla bla. will prob get a yrs fun out of it then sell and buy a cossie or summit, or keep it and go for 300bhp

This was my second Ford mota, first was a MK3 Escort dropped on S2 wheels
Then there was a S1, which was full of rust
Then a couple of fiesta's a black one running a RST engine, and a standard grey Fiest dropped 60mm on the standard 13"s lol
This was the MK2 VR6 that i built, just sold that (thank god)
I just brought this, nice car, its got a bit of a spec, nothing special Ps, the wheels are for sale swap (standards +cash)
And these are the weekend cars
And im still looking to get that Escort RS Cosworth i promised myself

First car on the road didn't last long, black and flames was cool about 21 years ago
Mini's and railway bridges don't mix, 1 month in traction and 3 months off work
My Mk1 1600 GT was next
Mk2 2.1 5 speed estate
3.5 supercharged Classic Consul
Swaped it for this 5 litre 4 speed manual V8 Uren Savage
I owned this a few times, 3.1 with swaymar holly conversion etc etc
Built this RS500 rep
Then 4.5 V8 3 door
24 valve XR4x4
2.3 RS2000 4x4
My cossie
I got fed up with the all or nothing power delivery of the cossie and now I'm going back to V8

Well mate, i looked in the back of the car as i got out of the van and saw a big dirty burn/rip in the rear seat. The car was unwashed, but still looked really nice!
You need to come see mine when its done mate!

Happily retired
The only car ive owned that I had to sell, it was the deposit on my first house. Have tried to find out what happened to it but failed. This is not a picture of my car but is identical. Replaced it with a Cortina GT, not on the same level in looks, performance m afraid. It was fast in the mid 60's with the standard car doing 0-60 8.2 & 125 max, mine featured a lot of mods including twin DCOE 40's & a modded head & cams. 0-60 in the low 7's & a genuine 130+ was very fast then & I still remember it the thrill it gave, you cant re-capture how things feel when your young lads so make the most of it.

MK2 XR2, i LOVED this car. I took it everywhere and it never let me down once. 20k miles of abuse and punishment and it loved it
Then onto my first RS. Immaculate concourse car. I paid big money for it back then buy it was worth every penny. Crap pic though..i lost all my good ones.
Then...a VTR! Brilliant wee car. Enjoyed messing about with it and spent a fortune
Onto a CTR when they first came out, again i spent a fortune on it, and again i lost a fair bit but i had to have the next car, HAD to have it.
First EsCoss and it was brilliant, couldn't fault it. Sold to help fund a house with the bird. Bitch. lol
Bought this pretty much standard after i sold the Coss. Just something to keep me happy after we bought the house. Got it featured ect.
Got back on my feet again and sold the S2 to buy another EsCoss. Got a minter with 21k miles. Got big plans for it, some are happening as we speak

coor cant belive someone off heres got my old RSt i bought it standard needing a battery tray. i got the battery tray done, (friend of a freind came and did it)
stripped it out, changed the headgasket, cam, vernir pully, 10mm Ht leads, filter, chip, fitted a 4x4 cossie T3, custom elbow for the T3, crossdrilled brakes, pads etc, bought and fitted proper original Ford RS Adjustable suspension, lowering springs, tinted the rear lights my self, tailgate spring locks, did a service (cam belt, fuel filer, oil filter before selling, also had loads of gauges and a stereo etc
the car was sooo solid, not a bit of rust, flew thru the MOT, needed only brake clylinders.
Sounds fookin wicked, had a 4inch slash cut zorst.
I sold it with an EFI head, set of 5 mint standard RS alloys, spare ERST T3 and some other bits such as standard suspension etc,
Sold it to a guy of ebay called Rob.for £900 its reg was F440EDB

thats who i think stu got it from . still had the ford rs suspension ,stereo and gauges . whats the difference between a T3 on a erst and a T3 from a 4x4 cossie ?. i couldnt believe how solid it is . think its a 3" tail on it now . but the exhaust has a bit of flexi pipe at the fron t i think cos it doesnt have as many bends as normal . excellant car
