who else got what they consider to be an offensively small christmas bonus?

I got £50 cash then £300 extra in my pay which got taxed. So not brilliant really but better than nothing.

we had a christmas meal that we had to make the hours up for (well not me cos i'm not a numpty) and we got a £10 woolworths voucher.............better than nothing but this came shortly after a presentation to say how much money the company had been making (into the billions for last year !! )

our company has started splitting our christmas bonus so we now get £870 cash (probably half that after the tax mans had his share) and £530 vouchers (asda) which you dont get taxed on i think

edit: we also get a £10 woolworths voucher for each child under 11

I got less than I usually get

 

we get a shell bonus every 6 months an amazing 3 grand a year but i feal sorry for the people that do the exact same job saqme company as me but on a total / talisman contract that get fuck all

 

I wont find out till tommorow ...but I wont be holding my breath as this months been fairly quiet. Even the works do was cancelled as a few big companies haven't yet paid for jobs done in August I worked for another company this month and was asked to their X Mas do, but its in Richmond so I passed on it as to far to get back from.

I'll be doing the same this year as I did last year and will be donating Decembers pay packet to Cancer Research in memory of my Dad. RIP

Here's a suggestion... Have you thought about getting your employer to donate the gross salary, that way you wont get taxed on it, so they will get more....

yup more for the same job is great! i work for CNR and they are the only company that pay day on and day off the rig. Means at least 1 extra day rate per month

In all the years i worked for a main dealer i never got a fooking penny

For the last 2 yrs i have been working for a small independent garage and am appreciated far more for my efforts and treated very well i would say as never have to pay for my mot's ( prob had around a dozen this past year so saved me around 400 odd quid ) and boss sometimes gives me his fuel card to use to fill up my car

Also get to use the garage anytime i want to do homers and work on my own cars and can use any of the breakdown wagons whenever i need to.

Xmas bonus this year was an extra weeks wage and 40 quid cash so cant complain to much even though i paid a shit load of tax and nat ins out of that.

I have worked for the same company for the last 15 years and have just got the same bonus that i have always had ............................ A £5 gift voucher for WHSmiths I just cant decide what to spend it all on LOL

 

I got told to be thankful i still had a job, count that as a christmas bonus

 

We had messengers dropping in with gifts for our consults all week but the real staff havent had any at all.

I doubt our boss will remember to give us anything at all.

The employees of the company that we rent the property from all got £7500 in bonus.
