Your case seems different as i wouldnt personally call a contracted payment obligation based on performance a "Bonus". It was aimed more at the people who spend all year calling their employers tossers etc etc and then expecting free money from him...

I got a bonus of about 5% of my salary, and thats as well as the annual payrise etc so not too bad 
Its a shame most of it went to the tax man to be wasted on crap as usual

i got £25 m&s vouchers,
but this bit realy fucked me off, my company have been overaying me and another guy for 2 months, sadly he told them and they r sortin it out,
my pay slip came through yesterday and i earnt £79.01 for a months wages full time, they took 1200 ish without warning, and surprise surprise the hr manager isnt in now for 2 weeks
at least i got my health, and a nice overdraft
but this bit realy fucked me off, my company have been overaying me and another guy for 2 months, sadly he told them and they r sortin it out,

I work full time and got sweet FA.
My wife on the other hand works part time training horses and got a £3.5k bonus from he employer this year.
We had to pay for our own sausage rolls and mince pies this morning.
She had a catered staff party in a country mansion with more expensive champaigne than i could drink.
