can i take the Dump valve off starlet turbo
got starlet turbo (not as main car, bought off my m8 for cheap ) just b4 i got it my m8 put a d.v. on and turbo now isnt as hard, d.v. is probably leaking badly.
what i wanted to know is can i just take it of? turbo is standard.
whats the general rule on d.v's, can u take em of most turbo'd cars without risking damage, if standard?

Try it. Should be just fine, not like I can remmeber if starlets have AFMs tho, but should take all of 5sec lookin in the enginebay to be sure.
Most cars even with AFMs work fine, 200SX's for example.
AFM cars usually work badly with vent to atmo dump valvles anyhow.
