Im sure if your car had done anything special, then you would also be bleating about it.
I see no one ever gives Martin any grief or sarcastic reply's even though his car is spoken about regularly and pictures are here there and everywhere. And so it should be, its a proper car built by a proper legend in the cossie world. Same goes for Rod. Proper car, built by a proper legend in the cossie world.

Im missing something here what have I announced on this Topic.

......if Rod used a different tuner to you would you still have the same opinion? get your MAD blinkers off for one second.EVERYBODY on this site was excited with/for Rod when he broke 200mph....ever since he hasn't shut up about it and has constantly put other people down, the support Martin gets is because he comes across with no attitude at all,he answers questions/posts pictures and generally shares the experience with us....he doesn't have people watching the site i'm sure,and doesn't make up rumours either

i dont want to get involved in this thread but have the people commenting on this thread actually met Martin or Rod in real life?
i met both at the daddy thrash and Rod could not have been more helpful, friendly or enthusiastic about my car on the day.
Martin was a bit tied up with his car but seemed the same.
He held us back from leaving as his shonky escort was on our axle stands all day
my point is that people are not necessarly the same in real life as they come across on the net

Met Martin a few times and he is a good bloke, nice to talk to and very helpful, and the same applies with his posts online.
I'm sure I'll meet Rod one day and see for myself that he is just the same as Martin, I just don't appreciate reading comments on the lines of "no one else is capable of building a car as fast as mine" as if that is what you honestly believe then your obviously turning stupid in your old age.
If the money was there then plenty of tuners from here or other tuners that don't believe in forums could wipe the smile of your face but they simply do their talking in motorsport etc.

because the way i see it is lots and lots and lots of people share the view mentioned above about Rods bleating......all accept the 'MAD' gang that is,now if that's because you know him then great,but i only know of him through Pf,and that's where he is such a ball-aching sod! if he's sound in the real world then i'll make my mind up if i ever meet him.

Why get excited over what I achieve mate get out there & achieve something yourself, Without me only Martin is likely to push the boundaries, When I read on the front cover of a mag that a certain car is set to break all Cosworth records, thats what motivates me, its a pity others dont get motivated & we could push this Cosworth lark on a long way. Im more motivate & have more drive at 61 than you lads it seems.
Ive only one attitude in life, I try to the best of my ability in everything I do. Your role in life is to Knock people who achieve, I except that, its part of the package, remember the Knockers are about 20 people on this Forum, the rest of the world look at whats been achieved & are interested in how far we can take things.
When my car does finally make it to the Dyno ( Mark changed the Turbo Spec for a bigger one only yesterday
) it will be very special, keep slating me lads, its quite entertaining, but dont knock what has & will be achieved & thats whats important. It would be nice in 10 years time to still hold the Topspeed record & thats how far we will try to push it. If we get beat I will be the first to congratulate the victor & say well fought cos they will have worked hard to beat me & I will know I gave it my best shot.Back to the Knockers & slaters & to show I hold no malice have a Merry Christmas & come have a chat at the shows.
