yes they could of thats why its gay having three years before the first mot, but even then people could clock them all the time, but looking at a genuine low miler you can usually tell if its genuine
ifs its got 20k on it and it look like 20k from new and had everythign to prove it was then doubt it had been clocked

fords dealers have invoices aswell as stamps in the service book.
some company cars had to keep paperwork for TAX reasons,
may be difficult with a Escort Cosworth to check.
but with invoices all going up you would hope it has not
been wound back
