Last sunday my girlfriends sister came up for me to look at her car (Mk3 mondeo), She said it had been making a niose for a few days and could smell rubber, She said come outside and look at my tyre. I looked and laughed my head off.

It's people like her that sometimes make we want to just park my car up and walk. If she can't even notice something as major as that what fucking chance do us other road users have?

It does remind of many years ago, I was caning along at 115-120 on the way back from visits to salvage yards in me Mk3 Cabrio with the roof down when I said to me mate, have a look at the rear tyres cos it feels a bit unstable. He leant out the window and said, yeah not surprised, its totally flat. Didnt have a jack in the car and the AA refused to change it cos the spare was a 14" and the rest were S1 15"'s. I said in that case turn yer back for 5 mins and I'll borrow your jack! He changed it anyway!

I told her how dangerous it was after I stopped laughing, I took the wheel off for her then her sister took the wheel down to kwikfit and had a new tyre fitted. She really hasnt got a clue when it comes to cars
