I've got an old Kenwood Hi Fi (seperates) which i bought new way back in 1993 its a massive thing but i love it The CD player has started jumping its a DP470. Where might i get another or even get it fixed as i do'nt think Kenwood do home Hi Fi anymore. I've looked on e-bay & seen some similar model number cd players but not sure whether their interchangeable or whether i've got to get a DP470 again.

Any advise please

Technology has moved on light years since 1993, get something modern, it will be 1/4 of the size and 4 x's the output, and probably cheaper than having yours fixed.

i've already got 6 month old system which yes is 1/4 of the size & just as powerfull but i want to keep this old Kenwood one going ! Its probably why i have a 3dr cossie as you could say the same thing technoligy has moved on since 1986 but i do'nt want a new car or a new Hi Fi !!!!!!!!!!

mate of mine has some old kenwood car hifi .. wont use anything else .. loves it to bits, has been offered serious amounts of cash for it too...
