Should have just stood up on the other leg and kicked it straight back in against the floor, longer that you leave the ligaments so stretched the more its going to hurt in the long run.

I've been there before 2 operations,alot of pain,a metal plate and 7 screws later all seems good as new

done my knee ligaments a few years ago - defo not nice
