Legend
What the fuck is he talking about?
Ask him how they plan to enforce that on a Honda Insight [apparently an eco friendly car]
There's a joke somewhere here about fisting but I'm too tired.

No.
So, in short I'd say it's complete bollocks. Even if it ain't, I'll be fucked if I'm changing the springs on my S1.

Occupation
Advisory committees should seek to recommend for appointment, candidates from a broad spectrum of occupations. No more than 15% of the magistrates on a bench should be from the same occupational group.

Anybody can be a magistrate, the idea is they know NOTHING about the law, thats why there is a court clerk in court to advise them
The law is my job, and I know for a fact this thing about the fist is utter cobblers

The very idea that the fist theory would have been used is ridiculous, completely subjective and therefore totally legally inaccurate..if I was doing the fist test anything would pass..I have midget hands
If there isn't a specified distance...he's talking shit..

He is probably thinking of Metro's, they have to have a certain distance from the centre of the hub to the arch to pass the MOT due to their hydrospastic suspension! I think the distance is 14" so that equates to a fist sized gap.

A prototype of all production cars is throughly inspected before it can be put into production to ensure it complies with all saftey regulations.
