xbox 360 on a pc monitor
has anybody tried it yet..????
i havent seen the games picture in high def. as imm poor and only have a large crt tv
but ive got a dell 24 inch monitor ..and just connected it up...
the picture is so crisp its unreal
so i can surf pf. and watch games uploading in the top right hand side of my screen..in a small 4*6 window
then press a button and it comes on full screen
if you want to try this option and are poor like me
you will need this for your sound supply to the speakers.
I got the rca phono to 3.5mm jack adapter in Maplins then you can plug the audio leads of the Xbox 360 vga cable into the audio socket on your speakers make sure you have the input hole first though - they look like this (a couple of types to choose from)

I run the 24" widescreen Dell on my PS3. You can buy a digital IN sound card for about £25, which enables you to loop the digital sound feed from the 360 or PS3 back through the PC. Voila, no extra issues with using your PC 5.1 surround sound system then.
