If I had 40k to spend on a car it wouldn't be an Escort Cosworth, and that's from someone who currently owns a good one and has had a good one before. Okay, mine haven't ever been as high spec as these but you can get all sorts for that sort of money. I'd have a Ferrari or something.

not worth that. how can it be worth that, you might have a 400bhp 2.0 zetec turbo fiesta with massive brakes and EVERYTHING, bills of upto 30k
dosent make it worth 30k does it
maybe at a push if your lucky 6k
so this cossie i think a realistic price for which it will still take ages to sell woudl be 22k

what you mean? i would never pay 22k for that car im just stating it would be a much more reasonable price than 40k
i would pay 18k at a push
tbh honest like i mentioned in the other post about this car i know of two low mileage standard examples which went for close to 20ish

I'm sure you and 90% of the people on this forum would pay 18k for it
So if you know of 2 standard low mileage ones that went for nearly 20k do you think that 570bhp motor and all the other bits on this car are worth £2k then ?

How big is that turbo.Personally i would rather Duncans Cosworth. Was 15k cheaper

Even £22k is way out imo. Im sure this would sell for around £30k imo, based on the fact that mint, standard ish low milers can go for around £20k. The only way to tell if its worth that much is to see if its sells. If it does, then its obviously worth that much to someone, if it doesnt sell, then its not.
I personally wouldnt have a clue how much it would cost to build a car like this.

i know it would be ballisticly quick, but for how long.....???
i have looked at 375bhp escort cossie which was only 14k before over a year ago. ok it wasnt mint and ok it didnt have the spec of this 40k one but it was half decent asnd 14k
