big turbo escos lamda probe

my old t35 ran the standard small turbo lambda but the hole in the t38 is a lot smaller, is it best to get a big turbo lambda, get a pattern part that fits the hole of just blank the hole & weld a standard size threaded boss in the downpipe???

car will be running omex managment. (option 3 looks favorite atm)
