the vectra VXR is a NICE car and sounds the nuts, BUT its boring to drive, yes the rev and speedo dose shift, and the in gear ( 5th 6th ) acceleration is amazing, not that you notice it as its just feels dull to drive .and if we all drive like clarkson we would all crash at the first bend ! any FWD car will under steer if you drive like that. even a 1.1 festa ( torque steer my ass
would not spend 25k on it.
the astra VXR is the nuts, i had one for the weekend, loved it, and i have heard through good sources that there may be a 4X4 one coming soon ( using the new chassis from the next vectra / jeep !!!! with big power !!!
cant wait....
have driven a chipped 1.9 diesel vectra ( 200 bhp ) and they really shift, would like to try a chipped v6 oil burner !!!

LOTS of handling work, but yes does show FWD works well.
But RWD or 4x4 would be better still...

I thought it was about the same as a stage 3 Cossie - just shows that it can be put down on the tarmac through fwd as well.
